First of all, what is the role of machine filtration?
Automotive mechanical filters are also called "oil filters". The function of the mechanical filter is to filter the impurities in the oil flowing in the lubrication system. After the engine has been running for a period of time, some impurities will be produced.
These impurities are mainly divided into two categories: one is metal debris worn by engine parts during operation; the other is black muddy organic matter (carbon deposits) produced by chemical changes in engine oil at high temperatures during engine operation. These impurities get mixed into the engine oil and move with the engine oil in the lubrication system.
